Electric anemone, found locally in Los Angeles on a night dive.
Tube Anemone Larva
This is an unsettled tube anemone larve, Cerianthid species.
It was about 1/2 inch long, floating by in the blue-water (1000ft deep ocean) in Southern California. Notice how there are two types of tentacles.
It should plant into the ground (upside-down) and grow into a nice big tube anemone!
